My bind editor (view image) is offered free to all without warranties. I'm willing to work with you to a point. Just contact me by yahoo or email.
But first check out the HELP SECTION at the right. I put a lot of work into them, and most of the frequently asked questions are answered there.
Latest Updates
Dated: Feb 1, 2011
Several fixes. Fixed install (i think) for Windows 7.
Note: This version requires .Net framework version 4. When you run setup it will be automatically downloaded before installing the editor. If this happens, please reboot before trying to run the program.
How to Install
Vista Users Note.
If this is your first install on Vista, you will need to run the program 1 time as administrator. Go to the program directory, right-click on the executable and select 'Run as Administrator'. After that, you should be able to run it normally. I'll fix the problem in the next update.
First time users will probably have to install the Microsoft foundation classes. The English language version is part of the full install or you can download
it from Microsoft.
Be sure to run Microsoft Updates after this, there have been several security
fixes for this component.
Download Full install here. Unzip the file and run setup.
OR:
If you run a localized install of the foundation classes (i.e., non-English) then you will have to download the appropriate version of dotnetfx.exe from Microsoft. In any event, click here and then select the appropriate language.
If you are running an older version of windows and not using the full install, you may also need to install an updated data access package. You can download that from Microsoft also. Get the latest version here that fits your OS, probably 2.7.
If you have an old version of windows, you may have to install the old version from this link. Click here.oldbindeditor.zip
How to Update
If you have already installed the bind editor once, or you know that the foundation classes are installed, then use the update link.
Just click on this Update
and select Run.
